Dear Colleagues--

Please join us in participating in and promoting Texas Library Snapshot Day in your districts!

In addition to TLA's campaign to get the word out, TASL will also be promoting this to all school librarians through TLC and the TASL distribution list.  We wanted you all to have it first, so you could plan for your own districts.  Some of you may want to do a district-wide day, while others may just want to let schools decide on their own.  We know that it is testing time in Texas, and we'd have certainly picked another time of year if given all options.  But if we each plan now to pick the best possible day to take a snapshot of our libraries, we can have the impact on the project that school libraries deserve! 

This data will be aggregated and used in advocacy efforts in the future.
