[tasla] Invitation to Participate in a Survey

Dear TASLA Members,
With Empowering Learners: Guidelines for School Library Media Programs, the role of “leader” has been added to the previous four roles of school librarians. The research in this area is emerging. I would like to invite you to complete a 5-minute survey related to this topic.
The purpose of this survey is to query the members of TASLA regarding their understanding of the need for school library practitioners to develop leadership characteristics and behaviors. Research in this area could identify and develop strategies for building these traits and actions in order to strengthen the profession and thereby increase student achievement, particularly in schools and districts that serve underrepresented populations.
This survey consists of five questions related to the need for doctoral study with a focus on leadership for school librarians. The survey is anonymous and will take approximately five minutes.
Participation in this survey is completely voluntary. By responding to this survey, you have given your Consent to Participate. There is a potential risk of loss of confidentiality in all email, downloading, and Internet transactions.
