Hello, all--
If you haven't already been contacted by every vendor who ever sold library materials in the state of Texas about the news, there is some possibility of school libraries receiving ARRA funding.
The attached documents are from Gloria Meraz at TLA. We are hoping this might spark a discussion of how we might be able to use these in our districts. In North Texas, there has been some talk about the supplant versus supplement issue when it comes to buying library books. Any thoughts on this from around the state? Other ideas of how to attack this?
For your reference, Gloria reminds us that TEA has lots of information (guidelines) posted at http://www.tea.state.tx.us/arrastimulus/.
